What QSNhire is
A marketplace for services and goods in Nigeria. Vendors list what they do and
what they sell; buyers find them. It does a different job for each side.
If you're buying
Search a trade or a product and your area. You see which vendors are there,
what they charge, what other people said about them, and whether we have
checked them. Then you contact the vendor yourself and settle the job or
the order between you.
It costs you nothing, and we take nothing from what you spend.
If you're a vendor
Put up the services you offer, the goods you sell, or both, and buyers can
find you, including from Google once you are verified. You keep your own
prices and your own customers.
Listing is free. We don't take a percentage of the jobs you win.
What "verified" actually means
The badge is the main thing we sell and the main thing buyers look for, so here
is exactly what stands behind it.
What we check
- A valid means of identification, matched to the name on the account
- The business details they gave us, including where they work
- That the phone number and email on the account reach them
- Every one of these is read by a person on our team, not a machine
What it doesn't cover
- It is not a criminal record check and we don't run one
- It doesn't guarantee the quality of any particular job
- It isn't insurance, and it isn't a licence for a regulated trade
- It says who they are. It doesn't promise how they'll behave
Reviews are there for the rest. They come from people who used the vendor, and
they stay on the vendor's page whether they are good or bad.
How we make our money
Two things, both from vendors, neither of them a cut of your work.
Verification
A vendor pays once for us to check them and issue the badge. Buyers never
pay for this.
Promotion
A vendor can pay to sit near the top of a category for a set number of
days. Promoted listings are labelled as promoted wherever they appear.
We take nothing from the price of a job or an order. Whatever you agree with a
vendor, that money goes from you to them.
Staying safe
- Nobody from QSNhire will ever ask you to send money to them personally. Payments happen on the site, and only for verification or promotion.
- Agree the price and what's included before work starts or an item ships, and put it in writing in the chat so there's a record.
- Be careful with a large deposit up front, especially from an account that isn't verified.
- Keep the conversation on QSNhire until you've agreed. If something goes wrong, we can only see what happened here.
- If a vendor or a buyer behaves badly, report them. We read every report.
